If it's blinking,it doesn't mean I'm asking permission.I turn on my signal, take a quick look in the mirror and if a big truck is not next to me,I get over.I don't give a #### if a four wheeler is trying to speed up and block my lane change or not.To Hell with them,I get over anyway They have a responsibility to keep their vehicle under control at all times. If they run into my rear then it's all on them.I can get just as ignorant as they want to be and it doesn't bother me at all . "F" em all . They aint in any hurry anyway. All they're doing is joyriding and wandering aimlessly.

so far I found that i81 Wilkes-barre, PA to i84 Danbury CT is a nasty areas for delivery..the roads have no shoulder and there is usually only one way to get out!
don't get lost in NY state near Middletown on i84 or off any of the small towns on i84
you cant turn around in there for ^&* and the further you get off i84 in there the worst it gets. make sure you have great directions and routes recommended by your destination shippers. A GPS will probably get you killed in there since it doesn't use truck routes

Lol, Pittsburgh is a trip thats for sure. But I consider a lot of the drivers in the north to be intelligent and respectful for the most part. So I just consider Pittsburgh's road infrastructure and mountains to be problematic. Im surprised so many people said Atlanta. I dont have really any problems with Atlanta and Ive been there numerous times.

    The bad:

I think leaving Miami on 95 N is the only time I've ever been in a 50 mile traffic jam.

Atlanta would be tolerable if I could have just 1 more lane on 285.

You just try and head south out of DC After 3 pm.

    Good?:
Chicago-I've seen 1 truck pulled over in all of my trips there. I just get in whatever lane suits me and go with the flow.

Dallas-There are so many options if you know where all those state roads go and no clearance issues.

    Let me try. :)

The public transportation in ATL sucks. There is a train (MARTA), but it doesn't provide service to much of anything. Everyone drives solo. Hardly any carpooling at all.

I am originally from Chicago, and I think it must have one of the best public transit systems in the U.S., if not the world. The trains run everywhere, and there is a bus to take you where you need to go when you get off the train. Even well into the suburbs.

I live about 40 miles outside of ATL, but my area is still considered part of metro Atlanta. No train, no bus...

The other thing that is crazy is how people drive in the rain here. It's one of two things:
-they practically slam on their brakes with their hazards on, driving 20 mph
-they drive like morons, thinking they can still roll at 80 mph then hydroplane and flip.

I was on I-20 one night when there had been a steady rain. The limit was 55, but this Town Car flies by me well over the posted and hyroplanes into the barrier wall. He spun out after hitting the wall, barely missing my truck cab by about 3 feet. I probably could have reached out and touched him. He then barely missed the tail end of my trailer as he spun around two more times.

    Absolutely insane.

Driving on back roads in AL and GA is pretty mind numbing, as well. Posted limits of 55, but those people out in the country are in no hurry to get anywhere. I've been behind people doing 35-40 for miles, and can't get around them.

Anytime I exit the interstate my palms get clammy.

I hate driving a big rig in any city.
