So what is the deal with Transcorr? Do they do like everything? Last month hauled a load for them but came from another broker. Then this week asked a broker about a reload and they called me back and it was a load I had talked to Transcorr about. Thought it was one of those deals that you have 6 brokers trying to cover but they said they got it from Transcorr. Anyone dealing direct with them on regular basis?

I was leased to them for a year. Not a bad company, but it was hard to make a living seeing they only do heavy ### paper freight. I do recall hauling several CHR loads for them, and I had to deal with CHR directly on all of them. Luckily I was on their MILEAGE program, and not the % program they offered. I do know they broker a lot of their own loads out, so god only knows what the situation was for you. I can almost gurrantee you got ripped off tho as I know most of their rates from their shippers.
Where did it come out of? -
No, didn't get ripped off. Got paid the rate we agreed upon.
Just wondering because it seems like they are mostly a 3PL but when you look at their site it just seems like a trucking company. -
they have like 2 people in the office that broker some of their loads to the boards, but they usually are the middle man for CHR office in Indy and a few others.
They are good people to deal with, and you could probably set-up a good relationship with them directly and do even better. They always have loads thery need covered, but like I said, it is usually roll-stock or paper scraps going into or out of a mill.
Their main places of business are Maysville, KY/ Streetsboro, OH/ Wabash, IN/ and Chyuga, IN
