Turkey has sent 140,000 troops to N. Iraq Border. This could really get out of hand now. Heck, the US only has about 150,00 troops in all of Iraq, period. They (Turkish troops) have not crossed the border as of yet, (9 Jul 07) but it is probably only a matter of time. What if a bunch of Turkish troops get hit with some of those Iranian-made weapons that are killing our soldiers as we speak? I doubt Turkey will put up with that for very long. I find it very hard to imagine we can avoid WWIII very much longer now.

Let them come, they should have been permitted to help in the beginning. It may have helped in the long run. Bush acted like it was an anglo invasion anyways.

Well if ya'll remember they didnt agree with us going in to IRAQ thats why they would let our aircraft land there to get fuel. So we had to go into other countries

Another case of "day late, dollar short". :(

This story is over a year old. It's being rehashed with new dates. Turkey has already lost over 1000 troops in this area.

The Turks have been massed at the border for well over a year. They are being forced to, regarding border security when the US pulls out. Although they have increased the actual number of troops....it's still old news.

Check the following story for Turkish input on WHY they should not go into Iraq without US approval. Last paragraph of the editorial: Turkish News...not Liberal Spin

It's only human to be concerned for your on life, when the police pack their bags in the middle of a hostage stand off, and say to you...sorry We're going home, my wife has dinner ready.
