Just my opinion, but I use a 22" LCD purchased from Walmart for much less than either of those two brands. A small inverter is all that is needed to power an lcd tv, so one doesn't need to be limited to a dedicated 12v model.

I have seen drivers using both brands and seem to both work well. I am like the above poster. I have a 19" Magnavox with built in DVD player works well for far less I am sure. I am not sure on exact price because I got mine for Christmas.
In August 2010 when I was going throught training, my trainer had the NAXA brand and it worked well the few times it got used.
Anyways good luck with your decision. -
I've got an older NAXA CRT/DVD. Been used in both the truck and at home, never had a lick of trouble with it. Been using it steadily for almost 4 years now, for movies, TV watching, and gaming with my old PS2.

I have a Vizio 22" LED I bought brand new on craigslist for $175 ($300TV) and it only consumes like 50w. I have it running off a small plug in inverter. I trust a Vizio 110v TV 10000x more than a off-brand 12vDC tv, 1/2 the quality 2x the price
