There's signs in the Henderson yard that you're not to fuel if you're preset with a beer load, or not preset at all, because they have too many drivers go in heavy.
We were on the Coors fleet for a while, and they're not joking when they say the loads are heavy. I think it's largely why they went to a lease op only fleet. That way, if your load is heavy, and you have to take on fuel at 25 gallon increments, you can do it without messing up compliance.

Considering/Comparing a couple companies. For any Central Ref. drivers. Do you get through the southern or western part of NY often? Looked at the $$ and other factors, but looking at the potential home time. Been told 14 out 2 off. Appreciate any input. (yes I know you have to be running to make money...etc.

They haul to and from several locations west of Syracuse off I-90. And allot more to the East. I was on a Kraft dedicated out of Avon for quite a while before my wife asked me to leave the company for more home time.
On the dedicated run I went from Avon to Independence MO, and back. Got in the house every weekend for a night. Either Sunday or Friday. 3200 miles per week. Never needed a restart.
That took a long time to get going though.
Most runs out of the house were straight to UT or CA when I was OTR. Then I would run around the west for a week or two. Then to GA and run the south and Northeast till home time.Dennis the Menace Thanks this. -

Also know what is said about the other companies comes from other threads here and drivers I spoke with in truck stops and not from working for them. BOL
