There you go! If Roehl deems it important enough to locate a drop yard near your home.....then that means they have regular freight in the area.....that means they can get you home on a regular basis (not necessarily mean they WILL), and they also have an approved parking location for your truck on home time; if you don't mind the commute from the drop yard to your house and back.

Was a "selling point" in MY OTR days.

    Just food for thought.

Your post was very hard to read, so am going to guess at what you asked. You get 1 day off for every 7 out. If you want to go out for 2 weeks, you get 2 days off. Must put in for off time 8 days before.

I worked at transam from 2008-2009 for 18 momths..first 9 as a company driver. My miles were fine, but soon realised that when you go home every say 3 weeks..your paychecks get messed up cause your miles obviously effect your following weeks take. I did fine I suppose as long as your miles stay steady and you have a good dispatcher. My trucks lease was up and they of course were trying their best to get me to lease. I did and the first 4 months I made pretty #### good money. Then I went home for xmas came back out and our economy hit the ####### and I basically went 4 weeks negative til I got any money and by money I mean 11.94!!! Hometime as a lease driver will kill you as they send you home early usually and of course you have to drive from your last stop..which with me meant at least 350 miles...oh yeah..they dont pay deadhead miles home...so the fuel is on you!! So when I decided I wanted to leave I turned in my truck and at that time I had over 1900 in my end of lease maintenance acct...guess what? They kept it and billed me another 2000 for the wear and tear estimate that they do when you turn in your truck.. Didnt know or expect that ########..my fault I suppose but they know it will happen but no one is around to tell you. My truck was brand new when I got it and had 110,000 mile on it when I turned it in. It ran great had little problems with it and thought there wasn`t much to expect after turn in. Oh well...lessons learned. Oh yeah, my dispatchere left not long after I got my lease truck and I bounced around for the final 6 months to the worst ones they have there...I had to constantly call and find out why I am sitting around so much...made my decision to leave and get a job locally much easier...

I worked there out of Roadmaster school, 11/12/2010 thru 5/12/2011.Training is a breeze. All autoshift. You get to drive and the trainer gets to sleep, until you get to the shipper or receiver. Your trainer will help you back up.
My trainer was a lease operator. All his 1099's were over 100,000. Nice right? That was enough to get me to lease.
Got me a brand new KW T700. The daughter of the T2000.
First month was great. Not so good from there. The miles started to drop. Live in central FL. DM said not enoughfreight in or out of FL. Not true. In the 6 month I was there, I stagered my home time. No matter what day I delivered to FL or picked up in FL, I always saw at least 5 trucks going in the oppisite direction.
Anyway, I left after my 6 month prison sentence. I am now qualified to step "up" to companies like MARTEN, SUPERSERVICE OR PTL. They all hired me this week.
Oh, how much money did I make? Well I drove 50,000 miles and 30 states.
    I am negitave $6000.
    DO NOT LEASE
Please just drive and be safe.
