Be sure you file an appeal, CRST is lazy, they did not attend the two appeals they filed, I had the dot requirements, and my doctor's recommendation that I could drive, and I won the first appeal, still waiting for results of the second appeal. You MUST attend the appeal either in person or over the phone, CRST reduced your hours you did not, and if they felt is was such a hazard why let you drive for up to six months? Because they are the ones making money off of you. The governemnt pays them to train you, retrain you, etc.. They sure don't like it when you fight back... but you will win, remember its a medical condition and unlike alcholism it's nothing you did if you follow your doctor's recommendations.![]()

Why Dont You cry a little Harder... So what he cant change the Channel on His XM radio without you telling The Office about it,,
-
maybe you need to work in safety, your already a good enough snitch
-
All the stuff about CRST aside.
If you were employed at the time of the tests and if your insurance was paid up you insurance must cover those tests.
Now there may be a co-pay involved or something but the date of test and insurance coverage dates mandate coverage not when you get the bill for them. -
CRST,yuck!,don't take your vehicle to the Fontana yard, cause when U get back, you're gas tanks will have diesel in 'em!,Dirty ######## did that to my RV, long time ago,I was lucky to have the AAA,to come get me out of there, I sent them a copy of the bill, naturally, they denied any wrong doing and refused to pay,"just part',so I sent them a fond farwell, and quit!
-
so you are saying they put diesel into your gasoline tank? Water I might believe, why would they put in diesel? maybe some trucker was turning in a vehicle and thought why not share with the rv sitting there and didnt pay attention to the gasoline sign? Hard to tell without forensics.. and probably not worth it...
good luck to you -
Changing the channel is a lot different than what he was saying, and yes if you have to take your hands off the wheel then you are dangerous. Reporting of a trainer who follows do as I say not as I do is not wrong its your duty, and it isn't being a "snitch" otherwise how does the world find out other than when he runs it off the road...

I know I'm late coming in to the conversation, but going back to the first post, if you were axed, then the COBRA act should allow your insurance to continue, assuming you pay the monthly bill, and the firing company MUST give you the paperwork when they let you go.
-
Also, one quick question:
You can lose your CDL if you get caught texting while driving; does that also include fiddling with the QC? My trainer always has the QC or his GPS in his hands and/or lap while he's driving - and he's got some pretty fierce road rage. -
They are also required to give you 30 days notice, CRST actually sent me paperwork that they terminated my insurance on the 1st of January but they sent it on January 16th. When I brought that up to benefits they said since I didn't pay it was a voluntary issue because I agreed to pay out of my check. No check, no pay, no insurance.. Cobra was available, but no pay no check... how many truckers really have a large savings account? With three sleep studies at 3k per study the bills quickly go over 10k. With two its still 6k because its not just the studies, its the pnumenologist (doctor) bills the RPT etc...
