That doesn't look difficult.
In fact, that is easy compared to some of the docks I've got to bump.joesmo, Wargames and trucker_101 Thank this. -
Cakewalk. I've had to hit docks that involved backing down an alley, and offsetting to the blindside to avoid the telephone pole, while still maneuvering the tractor around a fire hydrant. Oh yeah, there's a fence, and a new car lot, too. It was a Rheem/Rhude dealer in Chicago that I delivered to twice back when I was with Arrow Trucking... -
You should see the Heinz in Ft. Myers, you have to almost be a stunt driver, you have to back into the plant through the guard gate and continue backing into a dock, lol
-
If he thinks that straight line back is a POS... Then I'd love to watch him back into the Ryerson building on 16th street in Chicago.
Wargames and 07-379Pete Thank this. -
Sorry, but that looks pretty easy.
-
I think it is.... Turn a hard right & head straight towards the building directly in front of that other tractor. Right before the building turn hard left & you should be able to get it close to a straight line back
-
Um...if you had a hard time with this, I guess backing in a parking spot at a over crowded truck stop at night is outta the question?outerspacehillbilly and REDD Thank this.
-
Or come in up close to the trailers opposite the dock, when you're about equal with the corner of the building turn right (about 220*) and come back around towards the power pole, then back it in.
-
How much you want to bet that he turned right, pulled along side of the building (with the building on his right) & tried to blind side it?
