Various adjustments are being made to the server over the next 24 hours to increase the site's speed. Some of these adjustments will temporarily cause parts of the site to look broken while systems restart, but the site should remain accessible for reading and posting. Sometime before Noon EDT the site will be down for probably less than an hour while the forum software is updated.
Thank you for your patience!

Thank you I had to type this since my Thanks button doesn't work
-
Thanks from me too, I don't have a thanks button right now.

Various features will be going offline and coming back online as they are updated. A complicating factor is that we have a number of customizations on the forum, and it can take awhile to put that jigsaw puzzle back together.
-
Thanks for posting this, I thought my computer was going to pot again.
-
Thanks for letting us know! I have an "Old Nelly" of a computer and when something goes amiss, I immediately think it must be me. I feel better now. LOL
You're a brave man, Admin. I'd never attempt to upgrade software while the program is in use. At work, we always lock everyone out first. And even then, we cross our fingers... -
Thanks for how you continue to upgrade and improve the forums for us!
-
The like button slipped in with the software update, it will be removed in the next few hours.
Strider and leannamarie Thank this. -
Back up and running, but still on the lookout for bugs. Let me know if anything is broken for you.
Some more work will be done tomorrow morning, but there should only be brief portions of time where the site will be inaccessible. There aren't any plans for a sustained maintenance period like there was today. -
Thanks for ditching that bloody "like" button. I ain't part of the "Twitter" generation, and I don't "like" nuffin...
Rerun8963 Thanks this.
