My flight is at 2:50P today out of Boston. Get into Springfield at 11:30P.

It has a character, that has be jokingly described as a Penguin holding his erect "junk" in his hand.

Actually its a thermometer... But I can see how one can be easily mistaken

 

Well, friends, boy do I wish I just bit the bullet and endured the bus ride. DFW was closed last night because of tornados... and it screwed everything up for me.

Ahhhh well. I got to eat some awesome ribs today # www.countyline.com in Austin. The folks at Prime were very understanding. They said it just might mean I'm detained in Springfield for aa bit longer. Oh well.

So far so good. For us newbies they cram a lot of stuff into very few days.

Day 1 is regular stuff. Fingerprints, physical, application packet, and a CDL stduy guide.
Day 2 is studying more, CDL permit testing, going to the DMV to get actual permit, and simulator time.
Day 3 are hazmat and s/h classes, securit, health insurance, e-log training, more sim labs, and actual Prime ID!

 

Well, guys, (IronPony, Sazook, U2, et al), NoTarps found this thread and is warming up to spew his personal tirade again... *sigh*

Newbies - ignore him.
