Trucking festial in Tijuana

It was sometime in august of this year, I was coming back to the US after a couple of years living down south, Anyway we were in Tijuana Heading towards the Otay Border Crossing, and on "La via rapida Towars "La carretera" thats heads towards 'Tecate' a convoy of about 8 Rigs Mergers in, but it was crazy cause they were Hornking like crazy, and whn we tried passing them two of them blocked our way, and when they reached the cars ahead of them, the Tailgate them nasty, and blow their horn until they would pull over to the side. Well when there was no one ahead of them on the Uphill tram to the Airport, they just started swerving across the three lanes until we got uphill, there was all kinds people waiting for them and Cheering, and the was at least some 300 rigs parked on the sides and they kept from all over the place, and not a cop in sight, oh yeah there were alot of titties too, anyway my my question is anyone here know what that was, if a trucker died or if its a festival done yearly? cause it was great and wouldnt want to miss it, i would it was like the Sturgis for Trucks.

 

yeah now I know what its called, "El dia del Trailero" or truckers day, and its held yeah in mid august, its a crazy ### party, Nation wide too, I think its bigger in the North though, and I hear Tijuana is one of the Better ones, If Im ot hauling thats were you'll find me yearly since that day
