Attention students if you need exspierience for driving go to Adrian Carriers in Milan Il. They will hire you but beware you only want to work there long enough to get the exspierence for a real driving job. You will learn alot from Adrian for example how to repair lights on your chasis how to back off the brakes when they wont release or are frozen how to go on wild goose chases looking for your container thats nowhere to be found how to hang out when you have break downs on a constent basis how to back up your log book how they try to apply the sixteen hour rule daily what it like to be forced dispatch or fired how everyone makes the same pay whether youv'e been there 5minutes or 5 years which by the way is .30 a mile up to chicago and back about 300/ a day plus your time in chi town about 4 to 6 hours depending on the mood of the witch they have dispatching . But keep in mind it usually takes 1 to 2 hours before you can leave the yard with the wild goose chases and repairs that are all unpaid so for about 140.00 a day you can work 12 to 13 hours which comes to about 10.50 a hour. The hours are long the pay is bad the insurance seems to be some kind of scam with not knowing anything till you sign up and then getting a big shock on your paycheck from the deduction which I think they take out a little extra to pay for the owners insurance but we will never know that now will we.... Best advice students don't get the insurance. All in all good company for students just beware they will use and abuse you but they will hire you thats all they can get to work for them but you will get the exspieience you need to move on and make sure you do just that because if your there to long you may end up getting unnessisary tickets due to their bad equipment and that would defeet the whole purpose of sacrificing your pride to work there see some didn't leave soon enough and now have had to stay working there because no one will hire them because of their record that they got working for adrian so thats why you need to not work there to long good luck
