no govenor, no qualcom paper logs, no prepass to get pinged with and a really good ink pen to cheat the books, plus i was in a i dont give a #### mood. this container freight is really hard to run legally anyway since you spend so much time in the port. thats why theres not a company in town that puts anything on the truck to track you. even the fuel pro helps out by not puting a time stamp on the receipts.

12,000 on the steers Snowy.
Some states allow more. But be sure not to go over the rating on your tires. I try to keep them under 12,200. I have never gotten questioned, and normally can scale them under 12k.
All axle weights are listed in your motor carriers atlas by state. -
Can't believe, that this time out, I have NOT made it east of the big muddy yet. Am also getting ready to do my 4th or 5th swap since I came out this time. Don't mind that tho since I am getting the miles.
Swapped for the load I just delievered yesterday. Guy I swapped with said this tlr was in good shape. hahahahahahaha Got to pretriping it when the sun came up and it had 4 bad shocks that were caused by NONE of the air bags being inflated. Linkage on the levelor switch was broke. Still going to have 4 bad shocks when I swap this off due to the Petro not being able to find any. And the fun continues.

thannks CD. spaced off the atlas., got the load off with the only nuisance being montana. he LOVES to bother truckers about threre logs. but he's had 5 trucks pulled over both times i've gone in there. after fuel i was 82,500. he was nice enough to print up my permit for me.
sitting at the pilot in mountain home. doing my 8. i need the beauty sleep,. deliver in pocatello lowes at 7 a.m.
it's nice to have front door poarking. before every one else starts to cry that it's getting to dark to drive. with the exception of dallas. i don't remember parking being such a ###### to find 9 years ago.
traded rand in for pc miler. so far it hasn't screwed around and routed me the same as truckmiles.com. although i don't see myself taking the short route between missoula and boise any more. that's wayyyyyyyyy too many mountains and curves. and took wayyyyy to long to drive 400 miles. i have the software for my phone,. but my phone don't like to run gps from memory card without rebooting. had to buy a fresh card last weekend.
loves i was at didn't have any garmin or cobras.
apparently the pc miler is selling for $250. i have $110 credit if anyone wants coffee.Last edited: May 26, 2011

Let me know how you like that PC miler. Looking to upgrade my GPS before moving companies and would like a truck one. Not that confident, in my abilities to route myself since I've never had to.
Spoke to soon earlier. Swap got cancelled and am now on a 3 drop load to all my favorite places. CT, RI, & MA. Think the RI one is where I had to do a u turn, in reverse, to bump the dock. -
so far, i'm liking the pc miler. it routes me the same as truckmiles. it's the same software i have on my phone but my phone didn't route me quite as good. plus my phone don't seem to like running gps from the memory card without rebooting. otherwise i'd stick with the phone. that software was cheaper. and defetnitely much faster for address's when your doing a 5 dropper.
doesn't really have any bells and whistles. but it's cheapER. and it knows where the heck it's going.
wondering what jess will have cooking for dinner monday night. i'll be camping out at the bottom of there house. loaded for calexico. then picking up onions going to colorado. got told to be very careful as the load shifts very easily.
GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
anyone aware of satellite radio having an aux. jack? our stereos have jacks that i have a splitter to plug both my gps and cell phone into. but my mp3's on my phone are getting old. i need something to listen too in the middle of nowhere. and the fm radio in my phone isn't all that great in the reception area.
i want to plug my splitter into the satellite and have the satellite plug into or broadcast through the stereo if they make one.Last edited: May 27, 2011

Check with dieselboss. He posts in the electronics threads allot and has a website with breakdowns on all the truck GPS's. He has drivers test all of them and rates them all in a graph that is easy to read.
He owns a shop, I think it is in WA or something. -
Ahhhh..... Home for the weekend.
Got in a few hours ago. Already put some of my new chrome on my bike. Allot more to go though. But the darn handle bars will not be here till Tuesday. And all the chrome I have left goes on the bars. No sense in putting it all on if I have to take it back off next week.
A little rain today. But should be a good weekend for riding. And I am home till Tuesday morning. -
the biker group is doing a southern utah ride this weekend. motel in blanding and moab. wished i could have gone with.
