May I start my Diary

I told KW that I was going to pay for it, because I knew about the overnight shipping charge. before I was able to get back to KW, they already received the money from Swift.

Yes, it is a Studio, and I know that from now on, when I have work done on the truck, out comes the Debit card. The heck with that mark up fee, unless something major.

 

Been some time. Well it has been another week with my new DM. We are getting used to each other still, and he reminds me, forget about the previous 3 months. It is a new day. This week was a little rough as far as miles so far. Got mt in some small town in NM on Weds and did not get a reload until Morning. Asked to help them out. First one was okay, 70 miles to Mancos to pick up some kinda hay and wood mulch in road and take it up the mountains to Grand Junction. Then another 70 mile DH to pick up in Rifle. Was going to t-call that one in Denver. Then is when it went to heck. After waiting for 3 hours regarding my trailer, they refused it. Found some small glass shards stuck to the wood. Natural Salt did not refuse, Gilster did. Well, then another 181 miles empty to Golden to get this one. because of the delay in Rifle, was planning on dropping in VA on Sunday. Now that will not work. By the time got to Denver, had 60 mins left on my log. Oh well. Now just hope for a nice short one on Tuesday and I can get delivered on Wednesday. Will still end up with 2400 loaded. The mt will bite, 320. Also with home time next Friday, I know that they will be keeping me close. There is one thing that I have to remember to ask my DM the next time that I talk to him, does he allow t-calls back to the driver. Injun will know what I am talking about.
