So, I just watched a video on this... [Google: MPG Product]

    1) He never really explains HOW it works. When asked why he just kinda beats around the bush, as if the question wasn't even asked. This alone makes me believe it's snake oil.
    2) He claims that fuel is combusted at 99.9% efficiency. Read up on the first law of thermodynamics and get back to me. If we had something that was 99.9% efficient we'd be set.

    Lame.

Also, $21 for 10 caps? And you have to put in a pill per tank? You're just adding $21 to each fillup!

sano thank you for you reply
that sound very much like the product ,but the one i got is cost me $470.00 or something close breaks down to $13 a pill plus tax ,times 2 , one for each tank of 120gallon that is $23 and is saving me so far any where from $60 to $70 each time i fill up ,deduct the $23 that leaves me with $37 to $40 somewhat around there ,times 3 a week is $120 on saving , the kit brought 4 bottle of 10 pill(cooper color like), each pill look like a big horse pill the product is working fine, i got an increase on mpg (is better now though im still hurting on my fuel bill )but im still wondering if is going to have a negative effect in the future on the truck
i call my friend he is saying the product is guarateed , insure and that my mile can get better for im experience the same result that he got by the second week of usage but im still
looking to see if somebody had a problem with this paticular product or the product is as real as they come supposedly the product was inveted in nasa over 20 years ago , iam doing some research but to be honest iam not the computer wiz guy( it took me a while even to learn how to post in this web site) that ought to tell you enough about me and computers:biggrin_2552:

Well, I am not exactly sure they are MOTHBALLS, cause I aint sure moths got 'em. However, If you look at the ingredients (if the bottles list them) they contain the same chemical make-up of Mothballs; Naphthaline and 1.4-dichlorobenzene, two known carcinogens. Smell the pills, they smell just like Mothballs. These weren't "invented" by NASA, if they were, where are the NASA reports on this miracle "pill"? Snake-oil salesmen have been selling this "MPG Booster" since well before WWII. It didnt work then, it doesnt work now, except only if you consider the "Pyramid Organization" that sells them. People at the top get rich by getting morons to push this HOAX MPG Booster onto other morons.
A couple years ago; the FEDS shut down a company: BioPerformance (a PREACHER, actually) for their deceptive (LIES) marketing of this SHAM. They closed their doors, quietly changed Corporate Officers, put up a new "Shingle" outside their business and started selling the same "miracle pill" under a different name.
There is NO Scientific data that suggest these things actually work.
But if there actually is an increase in MPG, the benefits are offset by the cost of the "MOTHBALLS".

    How smart are ya?

Those stupid fuel saving pills are one ginormous (just added to the Webster's dictionary) scam. I have an Aunt who got caught up in that garbage and wanted me to help her sell them on here, I told her no and she hasn't spoken to me again. She knows its a scam now though. People get caught up in the weirdest scams these days. You have as much chance saving fuel by adding some "moth balls" into your tank than by me getting up on your truck and relieving myself into the tank, put it that way.

As I stated, Investigation by one of the Major News outlets (I don't remember if it was ABC, CBS or NBC) found that the main ingredient in those "miracle pills" was indeed Naphthaline and 1.4-dichlorobenzene. And their investigation showed that they didn't increase fuel milage (not in the least little bit) in identical cars driven on the same track at the same speed. Research THOSE facts.

Lets see here, Fuel booster pills, 10 to 15% increase.
    Turbo 3000 another 10 to 15 % increase.
All I need to fine is a few more products such as these, and pretty soon I wont be burning any fuel at all. :biggrin_25523:
