I have made quite a few trips to Canada. If any fellow Swift drivers have questions about traveling to Canada I will be happy to help ya out. I do not claim to know everything, but I know enough to be of assistance to others.
Oh Canada!

Never bothered me to run Canada when I was with Swift. Hell, Ontario was usually the best part of the trip when I had to carry bus chassis up from Fort Valley, GA to Brantford, ON. Up 75, through Atlanta, then up 75 some more, to Knoxville (and all the road construction they had going on at the time), then up the loop at 45 MPH to continue up 75, through the rolling hills of Kentucky with a castrated 12.7 Detroit, and all the idiot home basers. Then you had Cincinnatti, then 200 miles or so of 55 MPH Ohio, then Michigan, then Detroit, then getting across the bridge. (Not so) Fun times.

trucker_101 Thanks this. -
13 hours? Talk about 20 hours of mixed driving between sites and sitework labor, then we got ourselves a conversation.
-
just 20?
thats just part of day moving oil rigs and campstrucker_101 Thanks this. -
They wouldn't let me drive past 20. I'd work it, but they wouldn't let anyone who did it behind the wheel from that point on.
