There's 4 of us in the class. One guy's keeping his truck, just getting a headache rack put on it. I get the truck that's currently sitting in Missoula. Its a volvo, and they said it had a volvo engine, but I popped the hood, and a big red cummins engine was under there.

They have Dick back just to teach the class. Rick is sitting in.

Mostly just went through a binder, watched a short flick.. practiced throwing straps a bit. Tomorrow we'll do some tarping in the rain. Should be fun in muddy missoula.

Should have my first load Thursday, and start driving probably Fri morning.

Oh also, we're getting paid $150 for flatbed training.

Sorta, lol.. We borrowed that truck to run up to Columbia Falls to grab a load while ours was in the shop for several days. Made me realize how much I like my freight shaker :mwink:

Yea TTR is short for this forum

TTR.. ohya, duh. :) No, don't think so. I did meet up with flyingscottsman though. Poor guy got my first truck!

I'm looking forward to the Volvo (1909), it felt so much better in there compared to my freightshaker. I guess we'll see once I'm actually OTR.

    the flying scotsman Thanks this.

I couldn't even drive 1909. Glad you like it. I was wondering if I should come for that class, but I guess Joe is my trainer, more or less. :biggrin_25519:
