Well, I finally made it to Tunnel Hill......had to go get that load and bring it here....got in about 3:30 and have been talking with different people.

Ken said I would be getting a new truck....wonderful???.....someone said they didn't want to send me out with a trainee on my truck with it's current mileage....will know in the morning what I'm getting......if I get a Cascadia, I'll be taking the closet out because my fridge is 19" wide (just measured it...LOL)

Learned a lot of things from another driver that has been here for about 5 years...he told me how to float, how to set my 5th wheel and tandems so I don't have to mess with them very much, and other things that will help me and then I can pass that info on to my trainees.

I lasted about 2 hours out there on the smoker's bench, then had to come to the truck and run the AC before I passed out (don't sweat, just heat up). Going to get cooled down and then go back over and send in my paperwork so I get paid...YEAH!!!!

Sitting about 3 miles from home in my home town waiting to go pick up are load at 9 tonight. Had my wife drop me off here earlier. Had a good weekend with family and friends and today I topped it off by going down to where I used to work and had lunch with my ex boss and a couple of friends. It was a very nice day. Now its time to get the show on the road.

I had talked to other drivers about how they took things apart so I knew it would be OK......just as long as you found a place on the truck to put the pieces...LOL......found out today that I will not have to put the closet back together...it's not that hard to do, just a little time consuming and it's like putting together a puzzle.

Got to sit in a new Cascadia tonight.....NICE!!!!!!!!! But I shall have to get creative in putting everything together. I'm glad they have the deck thingy that will sit between two trucks....will make it a lot easier to transfer things.

I'll be in class on Thursday....don't know what I'm up against, but I'll find out...LOL

By all means, do them on your PC. I did all of mine on my laptop.....much easier than trying to do them on the truck.........hopefully you know which 7 you need to do.....I didn't know, my trainer didn't know, so I was just going down the list.......after sitting for a 34 and having done about 10 lessons, then we found out which ones I needed to do.....and, of course, I had only done 2 or 3 that I was supposed to do.
