Bite me, Doughboy. At least you could have spelled "Maurice" properly, Dino Jr.
-
now you know I am lost without my spell check... .#### phone.
And I'm not Dino, he doesn't even know how to work a spell checkerEskimo6804 Thanks this. -
It does look like a big mouth grill which would indicate big power, although I thought the 3408 would have an air cleaner on the drivers side if it only had one. Its been too long since I messed with this stuff tho... my minds foggy
-
A 42' trailer? I have 4" straps longer then that.
-
I drove a '77 359 that had a 3408, and yes the air cleaner was on the driver's side. (single air cleaner). At least on that truck, this was the set up.
-
When you said "long nose" I was thinking you were talking about an extended hood - and that one doesn't appear to be an extended hood. But, I had a short hood 359 configured just about like that one and I think the wheelbase was 224".
And a lot of those 359's back then just had a Luberfiner hung on the driver's side like that one. Later on they started putting a chrome PS fluid reservoir beside the Luberfiners on some of them. But, nothing looks better than having a Vortox breather on each side. -
it depends on the motor. the cummins and cat inlines would have air cleaner on pass side. the3408 was a V motor and had the turbo siting on top and the air intake side of the turbo pointed to the drivers side so the air cleaner would be on that side if it only had one.
I think the KTA was on the driver side too but i'm not positive
