Have made it to Des Moines. Have 625 miles to go and 10.75 hrs to do it in. Dang good thing that Cheyenne is an hr behind me, JIC I need that midnight tomorrow to make it in.

 

Hey..CD, heard you on the Lockridge report yesterday. Funny, would have never thought you had a voice like that from your picture.

 

had to have the satellite reprogrammed. it was only getting 1/4 of the channels. they reimbursed the year cost. and put me on the monthly plan instead.

had plans to get my bike in the shop for clutch springs so i'm ready for the elko jamboree in 2 weeks. instead. i'm waiting in cali for a rear end. and a load of onions waiting to be hauled. no one can figure out why i just didn't leave the trailer loaded and in there facility. i was told to untarp and unstrap and get unloaded.

i'm disliking this job more and more every day. that tarp is too #### heavy for one person.

Called nemo once or twice. Only onair one time though and used my name. Not handle. If I used a handle on the radio it would be Pete though. Not chromedome.

sitting at a trukstop, wahlsenburg, co. waiting to deliver my onions 5 days late. got some trucker talking about a dot blitz for the next 72 hours. any truth to that?

if i never haul onions again. that'll be too soon. hauling produce, AND 5000 pounds difference on the axles. i got scrutinized by EVERY scale house.

having a trialer with spread axles has it's good and bad. sliding the 5th wheel all the way forward didn't make much difference at all. good for the extra weight though.

i called the shipper to see if receiver would be open when i got there. and basically got yelled at for being lost and still trying to find my way whe n i was supposed to be there in the morning.
i said WTF>? he says aren't you the cr england truck. i said no. i'm the truck that was broke down. did he feel stupid

 

Yeppers snowwy, the yearly DOT blitz runs the 7 thru the 9th. Happens every year. Make sure the trk and tlr is in good shape and keep your logs up to date, and no problems.......supposedly. lol

 

#### heading through Commiefornia. Oregon and Washington its gonna be fun with the Blitz going on!!

Wonder how many Dumb ###'s will get log Violations this week...A few seem to have trouble making the logs look legal
