There has been some discussion about requiring those who have a high body fat index (BMI) to have a sleep apnea test at their expense. To my knowledge, there has yet to be an actual law or regulation which requires it. At some point the feds could tie your ability to drive with your weight. For those who are fat or over weight, now would be a good time to start getting in shape and changing your eating habits. I don't see how some can do their job with all the weight they are carrying around. If you lose weight and change your eating habits you could avoid or reduce your chances of having health related issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

If it is not law and companies are doing it. What happens if someone refuses to take the sleep test? Does it show up on DAC?

Muscle can never weigh more than fat. A pound, is a pound, is a pound. There are tests out there that can accurately determine your bodyfat, muscle mass, and bone mass. A test such as the DEXA can even show you right/left imbalances.ronin Thanks this.
