Student training at maverick

I'm looking into Flatbed once I get through school and like what I hear about Maverick. They ar high on my list

 

In orientation now, seems like a very good company, make sure your paperwork is all in line before you come and you'll be fine. More on the abilities test tomorrow.

Regarding the comments about internet access, if you have verizon 3g mobile hotspot on your phone, you should have no problem getting on line, as I am now on line at Maverick using mine. Video skyped the family a couple times. Best thing ever to have in this business re: keeping in touch with family, so far.

 

Orientation went well. Not just a sugar coated, "welcome to the company, here's a bumper sticker" orientation, it's a very informative, honest, straight-forward job interview that lasts a week. Great people that respect you, as long as you respect them. Load securement training isn't just "toss the straps here and there blah blah..", it's "we secure it this way because it's safe, legal, (and if you come here, you WILL run legally), and it's in the best interest of you, and the driving public, and of course the company. So far so good, more later!
