Rumor has it even Halvor Lines out of Superior, WI was out for blood, mine and especialy a few others...

 

that is like when i have trouble finding a shipper, and i send a message telling them how to get into the shipper.

like say there is a low clearence on one rd, and it is not listed on the directions.

I would send a message telling there where the low clearence is.
But do you think the would acutally update that to the directions?

that requires that you put fourth some effort, and actually care.

The next driver will not get those updated directions, and run into the same issues.

 

Seriously u guys need to stop crying bout ur companies and just do ur job and get your experience and move on it is a ###### job sometimes but u dont have a choice until you own your truck...treated like dogs? come on how soft are u? they cant make u do anything illegal and thats more power u have over them than them over u.It is what it is and we cant change it so be it.

 

If every Truck on the road stopped for 72 hours, could you imagine the impact? There is not a company big enough out their (Not even Swift) to find drivers to put in the truck to move them. The American Logistics Relocation Engineer (Term: used to show a professional Skill) does not even realize the power they have. The power to bring the government and greedy companies to there knees. The problem is no one out here seems to have the funds to survive there self, so it is not even realistic. But, I could guarantee that if it where possible wages, benefits, equipment and respect would follow. The companies know that most LRE's live from pay check to pay check. Just wondering if it will ever get bad enough to cause this to happen???

 

Yea stop complaining and do your job be courtous to other drivers and give your best everyday and good things will happend. Remember you can go Down that Hill 10X slow but only one time fast.

 

I will admit I used to drive for swift. The only thing I will say right now is that it was the worst mistake I ever made. I wish I had known about this site back then (2006-2007). I might have never come off the road, and be looking for a good company 3 years later.

tell you what bud, I been boned every way possible, have sweltered my butt in 118 degree sweat boxes in late summer memphis, sitting in a jobsite waiting to mt w no ac, been left on the side of the road in jan in north illinois w a dead rig and no fuel.. been raped out of about 20,000 bucks all in all, been stuck in death trap equipment, been jacked around by DOT a baker's dozen worth of ways and missed the birth of 2 of my 5 kids and a myriad of much more things, too numerous to mention here.. I've EARNED the right to whine if I want to. Tough? I've paid my dues and some of yours too.... so go hold your steering wheel, raise your seat high so you can see all around you, turn your ac up, use your gps, be safe and quit YOUR whining.......... just sayin
