went to school with national, in retrospect I should have went with CDI/TDI. I want to work for Crete but I didn't know they don't hire directly from my school.

seems like all the schools charge about the same.

the problem with living in florida is freight moves out but it comes in by boat. some of the other more seasoned truckers might explain it better.

I'm half way through my 8 weeks of student training with werner, they hire north of the I-4. so far I'm not getting home, but it's only been 4 weeks. I should get 1 week paid time off starting next week sometime.

werner makes paperless logs sound good, but you waste a couple hours a week waiting for a signal and messages to send. I've waited 15 minutes multiple times a day for just 2 or 3 messages to send.

    I hope this helps

I live in Orlando and am currently leased to National Freight. I was a company driver with them OTR for a year before I bought this truck. They have a terminal in Orlando on Landstreet Rd. As a company driver my average gross was $1100 per week.

My job requires a Class A cdl but i run the heavy equipment off road. It is a county job. So everyone is required to have a class A cdl.
Part of the job description. But i have always wanted to drive OTR Semi's
I plan on doing it at least for a year. Even if it when i retire from this job.
