Deal with it, they'll be there anytime a road is ground up and prepped for repaving, or they may be just wear tracks. Big trucks are effected much less than smaller vehicles.
You should try it on a motorcycle... it's scary like suicide.Working Class Patriot and truck diva Thank this. -
It might also help if you don't 'fight the groove'. Your tires will have a tendancy to follow the groove, but if you try to follow your own line you will always be overcorrecting as you go in and out of the groove.

Great suggestion... right - loosen your grip on the wheel, hold it with your fingertips.
truck diva Thanks this. -
Yes, are you talking about the tiny grooves from grinding the pavement in preparation for a new layer? Or the big tire troughs in asphalt formed from the mix of weight and heat?

Big tire troughs.....

Do you have the super wide tires, or regular dualies?

Loosen your grip, let the truck follow them... don't fight it.

Just regular tires, we just got a new Kenworth T660....Owner/Op with Swift

Good point, my husband took over for me for a bit to feel what I was talking about....he drove on it like it was nothing! I was ready pull over and bawl!! LOLOL.....but once I got back out I did better, he basically said what you are....we were on hwy 287 in Texas, there is a stretch of it between Statford and Boise City, OK that sucks!!! It's the worst grooves I have ever experienced....I literally felt like I was gonna lose it.....so I slowed way down, like to 45 and it almost felt worse....lol.....but I will get it.....back in Feb I slid on ice while I was in training and it scared me so bad that it almost gives me that same feeling....ugh!! But I like driving the truck.....
