you have not been with usx for OVER 7 year so tell us how you know anything about what is going on now....?

1st you make me pull a trailer 30 miles down the freeway to get to a landline (no cell service) to call tire servce because you can't pick up the phones on your desk and call them and make me do an extra $300 in damage and make me late. ask me if i care if you still have a job..

2nd forget to put 5 gl of oil in the truck when doing a pm (he did this to two trucks that night) again ask me if i care if HE still has a job....

3rd as to the dr appt..... he knew i had the appt for over a month reminded 1 weel out and the load i had took me by a term (less than 20 miles) and less than 75 miles from my house and he WOULD NOT repower the load, that made me and the dr change my meds 2 time and made me make 3 more dr's appt's. so AGAIN ask me if i care if you still have a job....

but the way YOU think i shouldn't make you do your job just because you have "sick disabled children to feed and care for"

this is a job, do your job GET PAID don't do your job DON"T GET PAID or is that to hard for you to understand.....

Well the one biggest problem with usx is they all sit on the 3rd floor of that big new building they built in Chattanooga and can't figure out what they are doing. All load planners,dm's, cust serv people are situated together & have 0 clue as to what each other is doing. They have Always been like that. The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. Clueless bunch of individuals.

 

Any owner operator or company drivers beware of L&G Trucking Tuscumbia Alabama. This outfit owned by Ray Stowe has ripped drivers both lease and company. They get a load paying three thousand and say it pays two. They cheat company drivers as well work them six thousand miles per week and give them a three hundred dollar check saying the loads did not pay. When drivers figure put what is going on they tell them to bring the truck in for service and let them go. Equipment is bad with no brakes, doors that won't close, air and heat doesn't work etc. They are betting no one will take them to court and repeat this over and over again.

 

So you want someone to believe that a company that brags about putting their frt on the rails faster then JBH did and their solos in the poor house faster then anyone has gotten better then when I was there

Go read their laughable website and find out why a publicly traded company goes private and it will show they have not changed one bit

Yes, it has been 7+ years. Get over it. It would be more constructive to hope that this or any other mega company will change their ways for the sake of current and future employees. I was screwed by his brother down the road back in 2002. Thats abouth the same time I quit and left it all there.

You are right about most of that. But, umm, well if you can't suppy a stright forward dac without tickets or company violations it would be very hard for you to get a job.

I went though this and I just got 2 5 dollar pizzas at little ceasers about 1/4 mile up the road from the days inn. so i spent 10 bucks in 3 days.. not to bad...

I got my truck right then and there. so.. IDK what your talking about. But then again that was in 2008 when I worked there.

 

Ok here is what you do. Call chatanooga and talk to corporate, i worked for them before the shut down every terminal west of i35 and it sounds like you have a crappy dm. Fire him. They dont tell you that you can,but trust me i did and i ran balls to the walls. Dont turn down any loads either thats bad unless your out of hours.
