What about out of state tickets? Just wondering.... ran my MVR for a driving position last year, at the time, I had a PA license, the ticket was in VA - a warning, no less - and now 3 state changes later on my CDL and 10 years go by, and it's still on my MVR - weird.

Best to get these things taken care of right when they happen. I got a 58 in a 35 zone ticket a year or so before I got my CDL here in NC.
Good lawyer got it reduced to equipment malfunction....lol.ronin Thanks this. -
Here is a cool idea. Obay the traffic laws and you won't have any problems down the road. The way I see it is... my CDL is my life and I don't want anything messing with it. I don't want to work at Walmart or McDonald's, prison would be better. That's how I feel.
Like I said to a friend the other day. If I never became a truck driver I would be in prison. Because I can't work in a factory. That job would kill me for sure.
Keep your license clean and keep the points off. Don't drive junk. And don't work for the bad carriers. The laws are different now. Heed this warning. -

Don't just pay it, without checking your options.
The system is NOT perfect.
Here is an example.......http://casesearch.marioncountyclerk...Case_id=1445092&CFID=1576545&CFTOKEN=90325458ronin Thanks this. -
how the heck is THAT a naive thing to say, when it's THE TRUTH...???
obeying the law is what a PROFESSIONAL IS SUPPOSED TO DO...
anyone NOT obeying the law(s) deserves either a stern warning by the cop, or a freaking ticket...and EVEN THEN some truck drivers are so stupid, they go on doing things THEIR WAY, to yet another ticket, then before you know it, license suspension....or revoking of the license, all in the name of what...?? stoopitity...????? being an independent thinker, or just a frigging moron..???
this is what is needed to weed out the UN-PROFESSIONALS from the REAL ONES.....
it was naive of YOU to have said such a thing...ronin Thanks this. -
But I allways thought working at Wallmart or McDonalds paid better than driving a truck?ronin Thanks this.

3 years and should be off after the 3 year mark but can stay on longer. It shouldn't be a big deal after 3 years if its still shows, most companies look back only 3 years but not all.
