Yep, I'll comment.
EVERY company out there has their own way of doing things. There will always be a certain percentage of drivers who don't like how things are run and think that they can do better. Maybe the can but it's those at the helm who call the shots. My experience is that most people either get mad and quit or do actually make some suggestions and not wait around to see if any action is taken.
Look on this board as a prime example of people who have something negative to say. For every one driver you hear talking negatively there are many more who aren't saying those things.
If you want to work, and get paid well, then you could do much worse than getting into the current oil boom here in Texas.
Read luckytx52's last post. He sums it up well as far a crude oil is concerned. There's also water hauling and sand hauling along with some other work.
If Gold Spur is near your home, I'd say go in yourself and talk to them. You'll get much more out of a face-to-face than reading some guy's rant on Craigslist. Go with your gut. If you get a bad feeling in your gut then look elsewhere. Gold Spur is only one out of what is turning out to be a wide selection of companies to choose from. I can't keep up with all the new companies moving into the South Texas market.
