72 Hour DOT this week...... HOW BAD IS IT???

Wisconsin/Iowa state line, scale at Hyw 151 and 11, if you can heading south on 151 take hwy 80 to 11... the scale sign on 151 will say open while highway 11 will be "closed" suspect both highways will be open, keep heading south on 80 to Illinois 84 and pick up 20 West into Iowa that way, No scale. Heading north on 151, take 20 east out of Iowa to 84 to the WI 80 back to 151 north, easy peasy, Nice and Sleezy.

 

It's very good. I'm having some home time right now, and won't be on the road for any of it.

Yeah, until you take that exit, only to find more DOT bears with portable scales waiting for you, and wondering what you're hiding that you felt it necessary to dodge the chicken house.

 

Just drove by the WI/IA scale it was closed this AM. Although last week DOT set up westbound on US 20 just outside of East Dubuque, IL.
