well for one thing, he got what he had coming! He broke into the USA illegally. It's no different than breaking into someones house. When r u people south of the border going to realize this! The law is the law! You folks down there need to understand that the citizens of this country are tired of being invaded by illegals.
Oh by the way Texas has a law called castle doctrine which states anyone can use deadly force after sundown to protect themselves and/or neighbors and their properties as 2 illegals found out the hard way in Pasadena tx a while back. We the people are fed up with being invaded.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
Perhaps it's time for some of the Border Patrol to get what's coming to them also. Quid Pro Quo! -
Well according to some.....Deputy David March "Had it coming" When Armando Garcia pulled the trigger.....
-
"someone breaks into your house"
Thank GOD I live in Texas... -
Different times and situations WCP. There have been too many murders under color of authority by the BP in the past couple of years.
The US citizen in Nogales. The Mexican teen in El Paso where BP shot across the border needlessly and killed the kid. And they're all getting away with it.
Maybe it will be one of us next when we come into one of the interior check stations and the ######## rudely demand we "open our doors" They're hiring all these trigger happy punks that are skeered of their own shadows. -
David March was killed in cold blood.....Garcia fled back to Mexico.....He was regarded as a "hero" by some of the media in Mexico IIRC.......
Garcia is the "poster boy" why most Americans have a distaste for Mexican immigrants....Especially gang-bangers..... -
Garcia needs to be found, extradicted back and locked up for life. Forget the death penalty. California ain't got the balls to carry through with one.
I remember the case although I can't say I saw any legitimate media in Mexico portraying him as a hero. -
Garcia was finally caught.....
The Mexican government held up extradition because IIRC...Mexico has no death penalty....So the DOJ said they would pursue "Life"....Again Mexico relented.....IIRC....A bounty hunter nailed Garcia and snuck him back up here....
The Mexican government had a fit over that.....Garcia is supposedly serving a 20 year sentence and could get out in 10 with good behavior...
Point being.... a few azzhats from Mexico ruined it for everyone else who wants to come up here legally.....ronin and MexicoTrucker Thank this. -
Good to hear that. We're about the only civilized country next to Japan that has the death penalty. And I don't fault Mexico for their policies. Hell, Canada has the same requirements.
Doubtful Garcia will be out in 10 though.
I like your last comment and I'll comment on that because you said a mouthful.
The sad thing is that people take the actions of a few and use it to smear a majority. The majority of those who come here illegally do so out of necessity and were they treated the same as Canadians for instance, in regards to entry/exit, we wouldn't have half the problem we have. For a Mexican, coming here "legally" is simply not an option that exists for the vast majority of them. I know. I've observed the process with a close friend of mine.
Back over the years, before the hysteria of 9/11 and those who took that as an opportunity to push their anti-immigrant agenda, and profit from it, people came and went across the border. To visit family and friends, to shop, to work and they returned home at night. It wasn't a problem then and the problem we have with it now is of our own manufacture.ronin Thanks this.
