I've already made contact with the agent. Suppose to call him first thing in the morning again.
It's too late to take any off. Traveled 500 miles already. Only 250 miles left to go & that is adding miles to choose a scale bypass route.

Appreciate the quick answer, Redd. I figured there was a good reason. Guess watching out for situations like this is something I better get used to. I'm gonna be starting out as a flatbed company driver (hopefully) next week. Lots more to learn, especially for a former doorslammer like me!
And on the upside, NO POINTS FOR YOU!!! (Spoken like the Soup Nazi off Seinfeld) -
thats good then--so its no damage to you --other than the hassle of getting dicked around and such --hopefully it all works out
-
this story sounds familiar.....but a different outcome....sigh I told you about it didn't I?
-
I was wondering where you were hiding.
I passed you on I-77 just south of Beckley yesterday. I was headed north. Had my hands full so I didn't hollar. -
I spoke to Chris Swank yesterday. He said the fleet average for the month of May was a $1.71 loaded and empty. Is this what you Mercer drivers are seeing?
-
I didn't see you.... I must of been trying to drag this heavy load up one of those hills.
Probably would of made better time if I just would of gotten out & pushed! -
I can't speak for anyone else but myself.
I'm averaging $1.53 on all loaded & empty miles as of June first.Oscar the KW Thanks this. -
I don't mean to peek in yer pocket book Reds, but is that including a fuel surcharge? Thanks
-
That is everything!
But keep in mind, I'll deadhead the truck. I don't sit waiting for a good paying load that may be near me 5 days down the road. I'll unload. If there isn't anything near me that pays good. Then I'll deadhead 300, 400, or more miles to pick up something that is paying higher.
Sure, my revenue per mile may be higher if I wait 5 days for that good paying load. But my annual revenue will be higher cause I didn't have 5 days of down time with no revenue.
