Lathrop. Got a load going home, went out to do my pretrip and the hub seal apparently burst leaving a puddle under the tire, soo my load is gone and I might be here a day or two.

Cool man! I could be here as they're also doing the b service so who knows what else they might find. I'll be wearing a black Arizona diamondbacks fitted hat.

The "shuttle" is a fleet of trucks that is set up as a line-haul division within Swift. They pick a load up at a terminal, move it to the next terminal and return to their originating terminal with a different load. The load they took out is given to another truck, which moves it to the next terminal....and so on, until it is within a short distance of delivery and it is given to a local driver to make the delivery. The load is "shuttled" across the country in this manner.

Man, Lancaster kept us hopping this last week. We had to keep turning stuff down and when we had a load to CO, they deadheaded us back to Lancaster. That's a 750 deadhead. Y'all must be freaking hot with freight.

Currently we're in Neosha MO. We'll be heading on to Redman CA. Last night we did the pick up in Kendallville IN at my very favorite customers of all time NOSAG. I just love those people. So nice and friendly.

We were going to be late due to the last load and all of it's problems (trailer was not tcalled at Lancaster as Lancaster told us. It was over at the customer burried behind other trailers. That cost us 3 hours. Then we had to sit for 2 hours while the powers that be decided if it would be tcalled at Gary.) After our DM trying for an entire day to get an answer from the powers that be if the pick up at nosag could be delayed, I simply called the customer. Delores and Rhonda are awesome!

Some guy at the terminal was talking about wild wild west just this morning. Oh he said the best buffet was at the cosmopolitan and the restaurant was called the wicked spoon. 30 bucks and apparently amazing food.

Better be, for $30. I spent $10 at the Cannery yesterday and did just fine. Til I dumped $60 into the machines. It's all good, though. Wouldn't 'a spent it if'n I didn't have it.
