Admin says to introduce here; I am in the process of determining where and how to get into the industry.

I am 56 basicly retiring from my current trade and looking to enjoying a decade of driving before retiring fulltime.

If it works out for me my wife wants to follow and be a team.

I have looked into PAM, Knight, C.R. England, Con-Way and TMC. Right now I am leaning toward Con-Way;any thoughts.

Do it! It's what I had wanted to do in a few years, before retirement, but I can't pass the health check anymore due to illness. Grab it while you can.

At this point I am waiting on Con-Way and still considering P.A.M.

KATEY is very big on Con-Way and NOGIN is big on P.A.M and he is from my home town.

Learned a valuable lesson, do not tell recruiters the truth about things not on your MVR.

Two years back I was in a rear end accident, not my fault woman in front did a stupid thing. No police were called and very little damage to either vehicle. My insurance paid despite my objections.

I put this on my application and now England and Con-Way have turned me down for training.

A friend long term trucker told do not bring it up if it is not on your MVR, so much for being honest.
