I'm pretty sure no OTR experience is a non issue in a lot of oil field work, I haul diesel and had zero driving experience prior to my current job. As for the felony, all I can say is apply for a list of jobs and be honest.

Anyone know what crude haulers that are on hourly in the DFW area are making?

I have looked at indeed and Work In Texas, but I am not finding anything.

I just need an accurate ball park for HOURLY, to compare to something else.

    Thanks

Mst of the work in DFW is going to be gas related. Barnet Shale is a gas field. Lot of water and sand haulers. There may be some minor crude hauling but that is going to be more W and S and E TX.

Most of these jobs haul flatbed, dump, winch, pole, frac sand or water trucks. I will list a few of them below for those who might be interested.

    Cheney (rock hauling), Godley TX.
    HLi, Cleburne TX.
    Vaquero Services, Godley TX.
    Tejas, Aledo TX.
    Road Runner, Rendon TX.
    Total (water) ,Cleburne TX.
    Tutle & Tutle, Cleburne TX.
    Bridgeport Tank Trucks, Cleburne TX.
    Key, Cleburne
    Pinnergy, Godley TX.
    DJB (rock) Burleson TX.
    Hodges (Heavy Haul), Alvarado TX.

These and many other companies around here will also have openings for non-CDL workers. Mercer well service, Felderhoff drilling, Pioneer Drilling, Big Dog drilling, Weatherford Fracturing.

    Good Luck

I haven't heard of any crude jobs in the DFW area. There may be some, but I don't think many. As Big Duker said, you'll need to go to South TX (Corpus/Kenedy/Gonzales Areas), East TX (Midland/Odessa Area) or East TX (Beaumont Area).

From what I understand, it's mainly smaller operations to the east, but don't quote me on that. West and South TX is where it's really booming right now.
