Heh. Tell that to everyone making comments about Werner, JB Hunt, Covenant, Schneider, Prime, Swift and USA Trucking.
Fact is, I am affected directly by JCT policy and proceedure. I am intimately aware of its practices. And, as said before, it's a public forum. As long as I am not attacking you personlly, I am entitled to express my opinion.runningman0661 Thanks this. -
See, the whole "company bashing" thing is pointless which is why I don't participate in it. I have no hate for any company, even the ones I would never consider driving for, even the ones I HAVE driven for but would never do it again. The fact is, those companies work out for some folks. It's a matter of preference, and to bash a company (especially one I've never driven for) is like bashing drivers who work there or who have worked there for decades.
Makes no sense to me, but then..... I'm different.

Not sure how JCT's policies and procedures affect you as a Swift Lease Op, but I'll take your word for it.Alanp613, ampm wayne and dabs Thank this. -
OK The reason I left JCT, when I broke down in Macon Georgia, I was having chest pains. I called my DM and said I needed to go home, and that the truck was not going to be fixed for 5 days. He approved my going home. My grandson come over to pick me up, and took me home. I went to the heart doctor, he run a stress test, and then sent me to the hospital for a heart cath.I had a blocked artery, they put in a stent. Schneider had sent me an email a while back, and asked if I wanted to work for them. I did send in an aplication, and they said that I needed to get completely released from my doctor, which I could not do at that time. The job they offered me was out of my home town, I would be home two to three nights a week, and home every weekend. I figured I would be closer to my sick wife, and the work would not be as hard on me. So at the time I wrote the retirement post, I was retired. So from this point on, my life is no longer anyones effin business.123456, Jarhed1964, ampm wayne and 3 others Thank this.

If I was your ol lady, Swift policies would affect you directly.
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Nobody wanted details. If you made a retirement post, I may have missed it. All I did was let those who wondered about you know what was up. I meant nothing by it. As I said before, I hope you are happy and enjoying whatever you are doing. I am glad you got your heart taken care of. I hope your wife makes a full recovery. Hell,..........now that we all know you have a grandson, I hope he is doing well too!!! Also, I may be able to help you out in a friendly way, I think this "effin" website may be causing you stress.

I appriciate you telling us your story.
I wish you and your wife well.dabs, Alanp613, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -
Lmb shouldn't even had to post the latest reason. This is a public forum not Facebook! If he wanted to tell the world he would've in the first place.
Jarhed1964 and dabs Thank this.
