There ya go.... and I'd take that Modesto load over the NY load anytime!!!
Also check the board for stuff out of Stockton, as SNi does a lot of loads from there too, and Oxnard, CA

Like MM said, they are very picky about 5th wheels. If it has ANY slack, they will want to replace it. Also make sure your brake pads are not cracked at all, and your king pins are not loose. They are very strict on their annual inspections. If your 5th wheel needs replaced, it costs $700 for a brand new JOST, and if you stay for a year, they don't charge you for it at all.

Will do thanks for the tips. I figure on running wherever the money is and just go home every few weeks considering where I live and yet wanna be profitable.

SHC, have you been pulling tanker or van? I read that youre going back to quality, which is tanker. MM, are you van?

if you run where the money goes, you will eventually find yourself running up and down the eastern seaboard. Mainly CT/NY/NJ/MA and so on. You can make a good buck running around there, and just find ya a load later to get you home.
If I were you, I'd honestly try to find a load from home to the west coast, then grab a load going to the midwest, then from there to PA, then to one of the above states, then I'd grab a Western bound load, or something to TX and then head home. You should be able to avg $4,000 a week if not more, and get home every 2 weeks. Just take the time and learn the load board. It works well once you do. Seem's like MM is starting too figure it out!!Travelinman and Wheelwell Thank this. -
SNI Choice program is for VAN only. i have been running van, along with Al. I was doing dry bulk tank work before and the account was in negeotiaions so i left as I could not afford a pay cut or the down time right now. QC got the account, the rate actually went UP for a change and they want me back on it, so i am getting back on that gravy train while it lasts.......
