Mexican trucker nabbed with 2,400 pounds of pot under wood chips
Federal agents stopped one Mexican trucker from bringing nearly $1.5 million worth of marijuana into the U.S. among a load of wood chips in mid-June.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, agents inspected a tractor-trailer at 4:30 a.m. on June 11 at the border checkpoint on westbound Interstate 8 in Pine Valley, CA.

Agents directed the 48-year-old driver to secondary inspection.

During secondary inspection, agents sifted through the wood chips and found 564 bundles of marijuana totaling 2,409 pounds worth an estimated $1,445,000. The alleged smuggler and marijuana were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for processing.

Between Oct. 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009, agents in the San Diego Sector of Customs and Border Patrol seized more than 17,500 pounds of marijuana and 1,050 pounds of cocaine.

Right here Mustang and Charlie Morasch is a moron. Look at the story he did about the border on today's Friday rant..

Morasch once again gets his facts screwed up in this story. He says Feds stop trucker from bringing pot into the US.

In the next paragraph, it reads,

Pine Valley California is up in the mountains between El Cajon and Calexico if I remember my geography. Which tells me the load was loaded at a stash house somewhere in San Diego Country and caught at the mojado check on I-8

And to further prove my point that Morasch is a moron, here is the original story. It does not say anything about a MEXICAN TRUCKER. Morasch added that on his own.

Couple of ways you can read that and Morasch chose the most effective way to present it to misinform and inflame the passions of their few remaining members

Seriously? Your argument is falling apart. Further, if this guy was WESTBOUND at Pine Valley, then how on Earth would he have loaded up "at a stash house IN SAN DIEGO," as you assert? Pine Valley is EAST of San Diego. Not much westbound from San Diego except a lot of water. Wonder if the MEXICAN NATIONAL DRIVING A SEMI but who isn't a Mexican trucker, can swim?

Better lay off the tequila before trying to twist facts around to suit your needs.
