I am thinking about this myself, as my future driving team (me and BF), play LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online), it's a really cool game based on the BOOKS, not the movies!!! AND it's free!! Unless you want to buy points, or other special stuff! But, it is possible to level all the way up to 50 out of the level cap of 65 for free!

Anyway, thanks very much for this very informative thread!:biggrin_25514:

Like the others have said, truckstop WiFi is not suitable for multiplayer online gaming. But just to correct something on here about paying for truckstop WiFi... if you fuel at TA's and Petro's, you can use your Ultra One points to buy WiFi time. 15k points for an entire year.

I had a Sprint USB card ($60 a month) and I went over the 5g limit and got a $250 bill so don't let anybody tell ya it won't happen!

I now have a Virgin Mobile card (uses the same Sprint network, for $40 a month) and when you go over the 5g limit instead of charging you extra they just cut your speed in half!

If you try to only use truckstop wifi you will quickly find that you will not always be able to spend the night at a truckstop, and when you do alot of places if your not right next to the building fuhgetaboutit! Not to mention time spent at shippers!
