I just wanna point this out because several people that I met while I was at the Phoenix academy were in this position:

IF YOU HAVE YOUR CDL BUT LESS THAN 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO THEIR ACADEMY. There were two or three people in each 5 classes I worked alongside with when I was there that were in this situation: They had their CDLs for less than 6 months and had no experience.

This guy dont know what he is talking about.
If you have less then 4 months exp then you will have to go through with a mentor. If you have 4 months and can pass the driving test then you only need to go out for 2 weeks. I just called Swift. Share the right info.

 

I'm sharing info based on six people I met from the five classes I dealt with. All of them had just gotten their CDLs and Swift told them they had to go through their academy because they had no experience at all.

Unless all six spoke to the same recruiter and were given false information, I have no reason to doubt them.

The recruiters won't tell you everything, or don't know everything. You would not believe the number of people that had issues because the recruiter told them they needed/didn't need certain things like paperwork, physical information, etc and the opposite was actually true.
