I would go to the cheaper one just check and see who hires out of there. If you go to a school that no one hires out of then you will not get any were.

 

Check out TCE (Transportation Center for Excellence). Its located in Eagan, MN. My husband got his CDL training there 5 years ago.

dctc is a great school Im going there now and I love it.That OTHER school is SHADY the guy who opened it used to train at dctc key words USED TO

 

yes it was a total of $4800 with NO other costs.Normal day is a hour or to in the classroom then out to the trucks,they have about 20 trucks many different transmissions they will teach you to drive all of them.very relaxed program if you catch on to one thing you go to the next,if you have trouble they will help you.there is also jack knife recovery training on a skid pad ,Included in the training(its where they teach the minnesota police to do the pit manuver)fun watching that.I think its a very good school,kinda like valley fair for adults..........lol

 

I checked out tons of other schools had all the recruiters callin me all the time,but it always sounded shady they all sounded like salesmen.The schools were cheaper down south but i didnt want to leave my home for school.The skid pad is at D.C.T.C. and everyone in the class goes through it about 15 times(that will be a stressful day).recruiters come through on 4th or 5th week and offer jobs,I would like to get on with roehl(hopefully)

 

Hey, dont know if this will find you already decided or not but here goes. I am also looking into schools and am looking hard at St. Cloud Tech. Their program sounds thourogh, and that is from a friend who is a current trucker, he checked out the info for me and he said it sounded good. They are very tight with ATI out of St. Cloud, in fact they use ATI equipment and ATI recruits pretty heavy from them, at least as far as I can tell. I dont know much more about ATI other than what I have read on their web site and learned from an interview. They seem really good so far, I have a raquest for info from others out there now. Also my friend went to Dakota Tech and he liked it and got a job. Hope this is helpful.
