Does anyone have any experience with the PowerMax charge air coolers from Detroit Radiator? Pros and cons would be appreciated. The ten year warranty is looking good to me.

I put one in April of last year to replace my factory one that had started to leak. I upgraded the turbo and put in an ECM from Mr Haney at the same time, so I can't really give you a good before and after comparison, but it's certainly held up well, and seems to do the job. It looks stout, for whatever that's worth. Mine was made in America, but they apparently also sell some that aren't.Nevs Thanks this.

Here's a link to the thread I started then, little bit of info here.
Good place to buy an intercooler? -
I put one an mine when I did the B/W turbo so far so good.
I bought a radiator from them about 3 years ago and it's held up well, I did have a problem with it after about 6 months and they said if I could come through the Detroit area they would pit a new one in for me, I like their customer service attitude. -
i put one on my my boost dropped alittle like 3 pounds but seams to pull fine

I put a powermax aircooler and a 5 row radiator core in a month ago.. I really didnt notice a really big difference in boost or lower egt's with the cooler..
