1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

will do. three days of orientation, riding along with someone tomorrow at 4am. Seems most of it may be a box truck bumping docks, some will be tractor trailer... wasnt really explained that prior, but I cant be picky at this point, experience is experience :yes2557:

Take the hourly one!!! The more time you are out of a tractor trailer the worse off you will be in the long run. What experience you do have will be worth nothing and probably start all over again. Thats my two cents but do what you feel better about.

OK, that isn't too bad for starting wage. I'm sure it will go up as you get a bit of whiskers with your company. And you are home every night, even if it is for just a few hours.

Part of me wants to do that, but the part of me that has no idea what they make wonders if its worth it. And I have little "experience" on the books, dont brokers still want to see experience?

Thanks! In my mind its the minimal salary to drive, but on the positive side with experience I know it should only go up :biggrin_25519:
