Hey, i have to go to Kuwait next may. I'm thinking about putting my authority on hold. I was thinking about sni choice program. In a few months we are going to start doing WTT and Battle Drill work ups. I need to be around the house more. Do, sni have a minimum days to stay out. Also, i have my co name on my truck, do i have to remove the letters? I hate to go this route , but i have no choice at this point.

SNI does not require a set time out, tho if you try to be home every few days, I don't see you being able to make much $$. Now if you want to be home every weekend or close to it, then you should do well. In your area, a lot of the descent freight is going north to NJ/NY, so plan on running the seaboard.

The good side of SNI is you can choose your time off. Lets say you need a mon off, and then that sat-sun. So you just book loads that get you back in time. They don't care how often you work. your wallet might tho LOL

As far as the door signs, there are plenty who keep their company signs on the truck. I had mine on my truck, you will just have to remove your DOT numbers and run theirs is all, along with their decals.

I don't need to get home every weekend, i need to start thinking about this deployment. I still have 2yrs left on truck payment, i don't want to put someone in truck, because i want be able to make decision in time if something happens to truck. I have found out the hard way, its difficult to own a truck and be in the military. You dont get that much time off from the road. Its either training or working on truck. I think this choice program will be my best bet.

Yeah, and SNI will allow you leave time and you will not have to cancel your contract, that way, once you get back, you can go right back to work and get the $$ rolling in again till you get your own authority.

With the choice program do they have health insurance at a discount rate? and if so do you know about the cost and how fast it can become effective?
    Thanks for the info
