The bar is already set,its your job as a fish to bring your self up to standard or continue to flop around looking for feel good water . . . . .

 

use one hand with other out of the window relax
when backing turn to the right your trailer goes left
turn to the left your trailer goes right

 

Try backing up a straight line doing 10-15mph in reverse.

 

Sure sign of a rookie, backing under throttle !

 

You must have one of those obnoxious automatics.

 

Theres is a point from 0-10 one should know . . . .
Auto or not anything over 5mph backing less the 100' is a rookie

 

Well, since you seem to know it all......

I had one of those horrible trucks that would pick up speed while your foot was on the brake when backing.

The only thing I could do was to keep shifting out of gear to get it to slow back down and then try again.

Guess a rookie also must be intelligent to figure how to deal with stupid company ways of setting up trucks when they are not perfect like you.

By the way, I am not a rookie.

and that is the sure sign of somebody who hasnt had to deliver culverts down a logging road that is being built
