    What if it's a big DC and you need 1 mile?
    Will driving .5 miles, then stopping and turning off the truck for 'X' minutes,
    then going the other. 5 miles work?
    How long might 'X' need to be?

    Stop, place yourself off duty and wait for about 30 seconds. I agree, though. 3/4 mile is ridiculous.

    Well, they were probably a bad example haha. Nobody had e-logs when I was a driver, though they were rumored.
