How many miles can a Van driver be expected to run a week? Someone told me they run beyond what truckers do because they don't need a logbook.

Many companies do require them to log and then limit them to 16 hour days and driving limit of 16 hours.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
It all depends on loads and locations though and luck. -
Okay someone was talking about a Van driver running like 5000 miles in a week Solo because Logbooks aren't required. I wasn't sure if he was serious.
-
What rule is that? -
no rules for cargo vans and sprinters, although the better companies will monitor their hours, as a safety over watch.

I drove the big rigs for 10 years OTR, and just retired...I am missing the road, I now have a regular class D driver's license, and am thinking about trying out the expedited sid of truckin. Anyone know of a expedited company to start out with?

What kind of a set up you looking for? Are you wanting to be a O/O or drive for a fleet owner? Are you looking to drive a van or sprinter or maybe something larger?
