Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

CSA is flawed because there is no appeals process. Unfortunately, I doubt anything will be done until a driver can't get a job because of the points. Then he will sue and maybe something will be done.
-
Isn't there an apeeals process thru DataQ's?
-
Yeah. You can appeal it through the agency that wrote the citation.
In other words, no. -
Data Qs...
"Please Mr. Officer, please, please take back the ticket you wrote me up on!!!"
I'm hearing 98% are summarily rejected. If you try it, you need to have an attorney do it for you. -
I wonder what the initial rejection rate for any appeal process is? I would think that most would be rejected, there typically is a reason that a ticket was issued. Even if things may have been done incorrectly. Once it's done the responsibility to clean it up rests squarely on the drivers shoulders. Contacting an attourney would probably be a wise idea to make sure all your ducks are in a row.

There are in fact two opportunities to appeal inspections.
1:The day you receive it.
2: Data Q's
Now I know it's not a panel of truckers that can arbitrarily make a ruling in your favor (and it would be completely arbitrary because they were not there!) So {GASP} violations tend to stand once you've signed for them.
I mean seriously. -
