Here's what CSA means to ME: I had to sit through two CSA training sessions and now I have to listen to the HR department complain at the drivers meetings about other drivers screwing up and pushing the company's CSA score into the danger zone.

right and in fact, you have to sign a form allowing them to access your PSP...sign/don't sign...what are the chances for employment if you do not sign...??

what are your chances for employment if you do sign, and they see something on it..??

    can't win either way, huh...????

    Wargames Thanks this.

Oh, they're taking measures. That doesn't stop them from complaining, though. :biggrin_2559:

Agreed, if you want to consider yourself a professional driver you'd better know about the changes in the industry. It just blows my mind how many drivers I see come thru orientation every week that don't have the slightest idea as to what CSA is.

This new company I'm with surely doesn't get it.... started driving this morning in OKC at 0630, fueled, started my 14 at 0615, Got to Wichita just before 9, unloaded quickly (very nice, Sams Club store, not a DC).... then finally got a call to pick up at 1600 there in Wichita (date/time stamped papers) and go to Bowling Green, KY for a 0700 delivery tomorrow. 722 miles, if I use some US highways and backroads.

Ummm... how? I explained that my 14 started at 0615, and then I rolled some more around 1600.... no way to shut down, then run 12-13 hours... on no sleep.

    She said "so what's wrong?"

So, I got that one repowered, swapped with a guy headed to San Antonio... told him about being up and around all day and them wanting me to drive all night. He said "that's trucking".

Umm... maybe back in the coke and white pills days, but not these days.

To be that guy for 5 seconds....

It's technically just CSA now. They dropped the 2010 suffix.

    Okay, I'm done.
