I need a good system to get into the Truck Stops to educate truck drivers real soon, so I am looking for the best program. I have had Sprint for several years but they never provided coverage in most of the US and too many drop call areas; especially since I am out west.
Sprint and Cingular have way too many complaints against them registered with Consumers Union and Rip Off. My personal experiences with Sprint are not worth commenting on, but I am fed up with companies that don't provide quality customer service and want to sell insurance for junk equipment that fails all too often.
I have several friends who just left Cingular recently and several leaving Sprint. All I can say, is check the complaints against these companies before buying.
From everything I have seen so far here Vorizen is the Best way to go. However, I am waiting on a new company coming on line shortly with wireless that will also be Multi Level Marketing. If it looks good, I will definitely want in because it is a process of sharing profits for representation.
We are all being gouged by many companies and there is no protection from Government as they just don't care anymore. The FCC has done nothing about all the complaints against the communications industry from Cell phones to internet to the high cost and poor quality TV.
It is us that makes the difference. (You and me Consumers)
Looks like Vorizen gets the big slap on the ol back to date.

Sprint has too many complaints against them and I have a major complaint against them. Customer Satisfaction is at a low. If you run west, you will have many areas where there is no service.
First thing you must know about Sprint is they only care about the Dollar and not the customer. They got their start two decades ago by Multi Level Marketing. Once established they cut off everyone's paychecks and ended up in seven years of Litigation; cutting everyones dreams of financial freedom. This is why they have been trailing in the business until they combined with Nextel. Corporate Greed should be controlled by Government as it is their job to protect the American way of life.
They are huge now with world wide business, but they just don't care how they take care of customers. Get a phone that dies on you and they won't replace it. If you buy the insurance, there are complaints of still not replacing the phones.
Again, FCC is not protecting Consumers and neither are the Attorney General Consumer Protection Offices.
This is our fault for allowing business to do as they please rather than demand quality products and services as well as reasonable rates. It costs them practically nothing to provide telephone time. They are charging consumers an arm and a leg.
Be careful who you do business with. I will keep all message I find where there are complaints with Vorizen and if I do go to them, I will make it clear I expect quality service and products or their contract is considered null and void. I will also file this statement with their main office with copies of complaints within a week of opening an account with them.
Check Consumers Union and Rip Off on the Internet. -
Hey there.
After I posted on the plans and their data limits on their unlimited plans, I continued to dig deeper. I have found that the only carrier that will honor "unlimited" data is Sprint. Check the "Un-Wired" thread.
There is a user who drives, and uses upwards of 500megs a day. Does online gaming. Wife uses internet constantly riding along. No complaints. Wow.
Its a safe bet that any carrier has awful customer service. Its also a safe bet that when going with a national plan, you have to pay the extra for roaming. With sprint its like 5 bucks extra for voice minutes.
I am gettin ready to bite the bullet and throw down on Sprint's HTC Mogul, with a Jawbone head set.
Hope you have a sweet day.

If you want good customer service, good luck with that. There's no such thing when dealing with a large corporation.
If you want truly unlimited downloads and fast speeds, go with Sprint. I've used Verizon, Sprint, and Cingular, and there's simply no match for the service you get with Sprint. I download at least 1 gig per day on the road and have never had a problem. -
There should be no requirement for two or three year contracts. That is the first step to consumer abuse. The FCC knows this but does nothing about it. Until the Consumers step up and start a real complaint bambardment, there will be nothing but complaints in the future.
Like I said, we are limited in choices, but one of those choices does not have to be to continue to put up with Corporate abuse and Government ineptness. When this happens we only have but to look in the mirrors to see why we are being walked on.
You like Sprint. Great. In the west there are too many dead areas. They have the worst reputation for dropped calls although they have gotten better.
They do have some good points, but they also have a history of abuse going back to when they realized they could cut off all the people who built that company through Multi-Level Marketing and stole their dreams as well as put some in financial difficulties.
Now, I just don't hold with Corporate abuse or with Government Abuse, because that abuse comes from poor management decisions by human beings.
Again, Sprint might offer what you want and that is fine, but don't let the fact we have major complaint problems within the communications world continue to go unchecked. The trucking industry is a prime example of Government graft and Corruption as well as corporate greed. -
I have had Verizon for 6 months... no problem love it!
I am on broadband right now in my house -
Once they have you, they don't have to give you quality service; customer or otherwise. Now, we see the home phone companies doing the same thing with contracts.
People, you should all be aware they are not doing this to give us better service as when they all have us under contract, they don't have to provide.
Everyone should be complaining about the marketing that is being done within the Communications industry as it is not favorable for consumers. It goes against morality and ethics.
See the thousands of complaints against Cell Phone Companies and TV as well as high speed internet. Don't be succors as you will all pay for it in the long run.
This is Corporate Greed backed by an inept and/or corrupt Government that does nothing to protect consumers today. -
They are about the same for me. I go with Wifi though because it's much cheaper.

The Jawbones are nice headsets, my roomate used to sell Cingular phones, and brought one home to play with. I used it with my phone and it worked great, my only complaint was the earpiece was a littel big and hurt my ear.
