Any advice as to best way and or company to get back into trucking. I am having to relocate to East Texas due to family issues and I am unable to transfer jobs. Have had CDL wiht, haz, tankers, doubles for 19 years. drove over the road for 1.5 years back in the day then drove flat bed local for another 2 years before taking a government job. Did a short stint 6 years ago driving fuel tankers in the army reserve. Clean background no tickets in last twenty years. Would like to work flatbeds again or get into tanker driving. Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts? From looking on job sites it appears I am for all practical purposes a rookie looking for a job with no recent driving experience.

Thank You for your thoughts and comments.

I'm in this situation. I have found two small fleet owners that will give me a chance. Schneider will with a refresher course. There are a few options.
